EU VAT & International Orders
Astra Pro Sp. z o.o. operates strictly as a B2B manufacturer. All international orders within the European Union are subject to standard EU tax regulations regarding cross-border trade.
Companies with a valid EU VAT number (VIES)
If your company is registered in the European VIES database, your order qualifies as an Intra-Community Supply of Goods.
You will receive a proforma invoice with 0% VAT under the Reverse Charge mechanism. You are responsible for accounting for the VAT in your local jurisdiction.
- Valid EU VAT number required.
- VIES verification before issuing the final proforma invoice.
- 0% VAT / Reverse Charge for qualifying intra-EU B2B supplies.
Companies without a valid EU VAT number
If your business is legally registered in your country but does not possess an active EU VAT number in VIES, European tax law requires us to apply the standard Polish VAT rate.
You will receive a proforma invoice including 23% Polish VAT. Please note that the transaction strictly retains its B2B character and consumer rights do not apply.

How to verify your status
You can check if your company’s tax number is active for cross-border EU trade directly on the official European Commission website through the VIES portal.
If you do not have an EU VAT number, simply provide your local company registration details during checkout, and we will issue the correct proforma invoice.
Exports Outside the EU
Astra Pro Sp. z o.o. supplies industrial machinery strictly to business entities. For all orders shipped outside the European Union, including the USA, Canada, Norway, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, your proforma invoice will be issued with 0% Polish VAT.
0% VAT / Export
Export orders outside the European Union are invoiced with 0% Polish VAT, subject to export documentation and shipping outside the EU customs area.
Customs, duties & local taxes
The buyer acts as the Importer of Record. Our prices do not include your country’s import duties, customs clearance fees or local taxes, such as US State Sales Tax or Norwegian VAT.
These charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer and may be collected by the shipping carrier or customs agency upon entry to your country.
Compliance & Certifications
All Astra Pro machines are strictly CE-marked and comply with European Union industrial standards, including applicable machinery safety requirements such as Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
The buyer is fully responsible for ensuring that the equipment meets any local, non-EU safety regulations, including requirements such as UL, CSA or OSHA, and for fulfilling any local environmental or waste management obligations.
General Terms of Sale
These General Terms of Sale govern B2B sales of industrial machinery and equipment by Astra Pro Sp. z o.o. to professional business entities. Sales to consumers and private individuals are strictly excluded.
Scope of Application
These General Terms of Sale (GTS) exclusively govern all sales of industrial machinery and equipment by Astra Pro Sp. z o.o. (Seller) to business entities (Buyer).
By placing an order, the Buyer explicitly warrants that they are acting as a professional business entity. Sales to consumers and private individuals are strictly excluded.
Order Process & Documentation
All orders are processed based on an individual proforma invoice.
By paying the proforma invoice, the Buyer agrees that the transaction is a B2B sale and that the equipment is purchased for professional industrial use.
Delivery & Incoterms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all deliveries are executed under DAP (Delivered at Place) Incoterms 2020.
- The Seller organizes transport to the Buyer’s premises or to another agreed delivery address.
- Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Buyer upon delivery to the specified address.
- The Buyer is responsible for all unloading operations and local handling.
International Trade & Importer Status
The Buyer acts as the Importer of Record for all goods delivered to their country.
Customs & Taxes
The Buyer is responsible for all import duties, customs clearance fees and local taxes, including VAT, Sales Tax, Excise or similar charges applicable in the country of destination.
Environmental & Administrative Obligations
The Buyer accepts full legal and financial responsibility for complying with all national and local environmental and administrative regulations.
- Registration in national producers’ registers, including WEEE or E-waste registries where applicable.
- Reporting and paying fees for the disposal of packaging and electronic waste.
- Any other national regulatory obligations resulting from the import, resale, installation or use of the equipment.
Warranty & Liability
Exclusion of Statutory Warranty / Rękojmia
Pursuant to Art. 558 § 1 of the Polish Civil Code, the statutory warranty for defects (rękojmia) is excluded for all transactions between business entities, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
Astra Pro Sp. z o.o. provides a standard 24-month industrial manufacturer’s warranty.
Extended Warranty
The warranty period may be extended to 36 months, provided the Buyer registers the product via the official Astra Pro portal within 30 days of the delivery date.
Warranty Service
The warranty covers the replacement of defective parts. Labour and shipping costs related to warranty service are subject to individual arrangements.
Limitation of Liability
The Seller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost production, lost profits, downtime or business interruption, arising from the use or inability to use the equipment.
Claims & Transport Damage
The Buyer is obliged to inspect the goods immediately upon delivery.
Any damage to the packaging or the machine must be documented on the delivery note or CMR document in the presence of the courier or carrier representative.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These General Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland.
Any disputes arising in connection with these GTS shall be settled by the competent court having jurisdiction over the registered office of Astra Pro Sp. z o.o.
